While working as a Labor & Delivery Nurse, I was lucky enough to work alongside some amazing midwives. I was able to see first-hand the sacred work that is midwifery and how this work can lead to empowering women and teaching young girls what their body is capable of. To me, care should be individualized to fit the needs and goals of each individual. Care should encompass the mind, body and spirit to fulfill the needs of each person as a whole.
I received a BSN from Carroll College in Helena, MT. I then went on to earn a Master's in Nurse-Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY, and am a Board Certified Nurse Midwife.
I worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse for 6 years following undergrad and then practiced as a clinic nurse supporting an OB/GYN for 2 years while in graduate school. I had been practicing as a midwife at the largest hospital in Montana for 2 years prior to joining the lovely team of midwives at Quilted Health. My clients say that I am family focused, attentive, and care very deeply that they are able to get the individualized and holistic care they both desire and deserve.
